Main research interest
Evolution, systematics and zoogeography of cyclopoid copepods (Crustacea) in the continental waters.

Ongoing research projects

  • Phylogeny of Mesocyclops G. O. Sars, 1914 inferred from molecular and morphological characters [co-operation with Grace A. Wyngaard (James Madison University, Harrisonburg, USA) and James A. Schulte II (Clarkson University, Potsdam, USA)]
  • Systematic revision of  Cyclops O. F. Müller, 1776
  •   Zoogeographic distributional patterns in Cyclopidae
  • Taxonomy of Australian Thermocyclops species
